Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

A special item can be used to transform specific Pokemon. The upgrade can be made by spinning a PokeStop photo disc. It's often given as a prize at Pokemon GO events.

Upgrades can be used on armors, weapons trinkets, weapons, and gathering tools to boost their level. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests depending on the type of item upgrades.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be placed into armor, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to offer bonus effects or attribute bonuses when the equipment is used. Upgrade components are only available on equipment that has an upgrade slot available. Most upgrade components also require that the item to be upgraded is above a certain level. Some upgrade items also have special effects when they are added to an item of equipment. Upgrade components can be obtained through crafting, purchased from karma traders or exchanged with other players on the Trading Post, taken from equipment, or acquired as rewards in games.

There are various upgrade components, each with distinct bonuses. Universal upgrades such as gems and inscriptions are able to be applied to any type of equipment. They provide smaller bonuses than the other types of upgrade components. Infusions can be found in non-amulet ascended equipment and legendary equipment, and enrichments are used to upgrade certain items that have been ascended. The majority of upgrade components can be replaced when they are inserted into an item upgrades, however doing so can destroy the previous upgrade item. The only exceptions are glyphs which can only be inserted in gathering tools, as well as enchantments. Both can be removed and replaced.

Insignias Enchantments, insignias, and prefix/suffix upgrades will appear in the hover display of the item upgrade, while they will be added to the equipment's name (e.g. a Radiant Insignia could change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrades that are added to an item will be displayed in the tooltip for the item.

Glyphs

Glyphs are special characters that can be added into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements like ligatures, ornaments, fractions and swashes registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs panel allows you to look up and insert these unique characters as well as normal glyphs, such as em dashes, en dashes registered trademark symbols and characters that are not found in other fonts (such as dingbats).

Each Glyph gives a character a boost in primary stats. The glyph could also be equipped with up to four secondary stats that will affect its radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage increase that is multiplied after other bonuses have been applied in addition to Speed Glyphs which directly increase the hero's speed.

Selecting the Glyphs and clicking "enchant" will activate them. This will bring up a new window that displays the Glyphs you have available that can be applied to the selected item. Be aware that only the correct type of Glyph can be applied to the item you are looking for and every weapon, jewelry or armor piece has an array of different Glyphs.

You can increase the level of Glyphs by completing Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more challenging the dungeon, the greater the amount of Glyph experience that you will get. Once a Glyph is at level 15, it can be upgraded via the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The radius of the Paragon Board grows by one node for each 15 levels that a Glyph is upgraded.

Once a Glyph is upgraded to its desired level, you can activate it by selecting it and then clicking the "enchant" button. The resulting glyph will provide its stated bonus and will also boost the other nodes that are within its radius on the Paragon Board. It's crucial to place glyphs where they will be most beneficial to your build, and that is why it's recommended to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Rare glyphs can also provide double bonus if certain conditions can be fulfilled.

Click the cycle widget to alter the perspective of the Glyphs Panel. Each view shows the Glyphs using a different font. You can reduce the number of glyphs you want to see by selecting an option under "Entire Font". For example, punctuation is only displayed in punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols restricts the selection to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling

Rerolling is the process by which you create a brand new account to give yourself more chances to play the character or weapon you are interested in. It can be done in order to level up faster, or to gain more valuable loot like a new weapon for your character. Many players reroll until they get the characters they like regardless of their strength. This could be because they like the character's style or their personality.

When you reroll, you have to make sure that the changes you're making are safe. You should test locally whether the patch is approved by the pre-commit test and run a core dev test. You should also upload the patch to an issue using a plain diff (see What about an interdiff? ).

Rerolls can be weeks or days long, depending on how lucky you are. To cut down on time avoid the enemy camps which are not mandatory during this time. In addition, you should avoid re-doing any quests that are completed later in the game. This can save time and energy.

When you reroll, it is crucial to be aware of the upgrade system. There are a variety of ways to enhance your character's appearance as well as power. Upgrades, rerolling characters and upgrading weapons are all options. In addition, it's important to know the limitations of the upgrade system.

Sets

Upgrades can bring popular items from single sets up to parity with those in higher-end sets. Upgrades like Guillaume's Face Helm to the Elite Spired helmet could increase the defense by 217 to 321 and reduce the strength and levels to an feasible range.

It is important to keep in mind that not all items in an assortment are suitable for upgrading. Certain sets, such as the FB Sorc spec Whistan's shield or Naj's puzzler staff are already exceptional in their own right and don't need upgrading. On the other hand, certain items that are BiS and have a lot of use (like Goldwrap) may benefit by being upgraded to boost their stats even more. It could be worthwhile to upgrade these items.
